World famous hunting and fishing guide Russ Kommer designed the BIG EDDY™ fillet knife series. These fillet knives feature what Russ calls his Dual Grind™ blade. A high hollow grind on the right (top) side of the blade creates an air pocket to “lift” the fillet, while the left (bottom) side of the blade is taper ground, so it slides against the skin without digging.
